Sending love and prayers to those who are suffering
With everything going on in the world, most recently the extreme weather in Houston brought on by Hurricane Harvey, I haven’t felt so great about posting my latest trip to Spain. But, in due time I’ll be sharing lots of stories, beautiful photos, and lessons I learned during my retreat. Here is one of my favorite photos to hold you over!
The Daily Croissant lives on!
I’ve been at odds with social media as of late. Yes, I love sharing parts of my life with you and (hopefully) inspiring you through this blog, but lately I haven’t been feeling very social. Maybe it’s my way of adjusting from all the deep work I did in Spain, transitioning back to my daily goings on, living my yoga off the mat, and/or dedicating my time to some other areas of my life right now. But I wanted to take this opportunity to spread some love here and now and let you know that I haven’t forgotten about this blog; I’m just taking a little break from the social side of life right now. Maybe tomorrow I’ll feel differently. Give yourself permission to take a break from whatever isn’t serving you at the moment. If and when the time is right, it will be waiting for you.
What the World Needs Now is Love, Sweet Love
I’m sending love to all those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. May you find strength in yourselves and the love and support of others to carry you through this tough time.
To the families who lost loved ones in the Barcelona attacks, we send you love and prayers to overcome the horror of this terrible act.
Sometimes the traumatic circumstances in the world remind us that our problems aren’t so bad after all, but for those of you facing personal battles with your health, finances, relationships, or whatever the case may be, know that you are not alone. Let us all remind ourselves to be kind; for everyone we meet is facing a battle we know nothing about.
Thanks for reading and following. May you find it in your heart to send prayers out to those in need, donate to the Red Cross relief fund, or send some love to a friend you’re thinking about. Sometimes, a little hello goes a long way.
Peace and Love,
